AML/KYC Notice
To protect users and comply with applicable AML/CTF and sanctions requirements, Plumex applies customer due diligence and transaction controls.
1) What we may ask for
- identity verification (KYC) information (e.g., ID document, selfie/liveness where used, proof of address)
- source of funds / source of wealth information (where required)
- business verification (KYB) for business users (where applicable)
2) Checks we perform
- sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening (where applicable)
- risk-based monitoring to detect suspicious or prohibited activity
3) What this means for you
- we may delay,reject, freeze, or restrict transactions or account access if required by law or risk controls
- we may request additional information before enabling certain features or processing withdrawals/cash operations
- we may file reports to competent authorities where required by law
4) Data protection
We process personal data for compliance and security purposes as described in our Privacy Policy. Retention periods and your rights are explained there.
Important clarification
References to AML/KYC controls do not mean Plumex is "authorised/regulated" for financial services unless explicitly stated with a verifiable register reference.
